Hello!

My name is Emily and I'm a college student trying my best to find my path in life.  What started out as a blog to justify my nail polish obsession quickly turned into what I like to think of as a 'lifestyle' blog.

I'm still not quite sure what to define this as (much like I'm still unsure of how I define myself), but I'm committed to letting it naturally evolve into whatever it was meant to be.  Whether I want to post about a recipe, an outfit, a trend, or nail polish I'm excited to see where this journey will take me.

Beauty, fashion, baking, and entertainment have always interested me, in fact my family calls me the 'human encyclopedia'.  I look to people like Mila Kunis & Lauren Conrad (I know, original right?) for inspiration and I watch Ellen DeGeneres everyday.  Wanna know my not-so-secret-secret?  My dream job would be to intern and eventually work for her, she's everything that I would aspire to be funny, kind, and generous.  Bright city lights call my name (I'm going to school in Chicago) but the beach will always be my home.
