On Trend: Dainty Rings

On Trend: Dainty Rings

I love these dainty little rings, even the look of a single gold band on your finger instantly classes up any outfit.  I've been contemplating buying a little band similar to the one in the top corner for a while now, but felt like my fingers were a little too chubby.

To solve this problem I tried on one of my sister's rings that had a little bow on it, turned the ring around so the bow was hidden and wore it for a while to see if I liked the look.

I have a ring from a friend that is a ridged gold band that I wear on my ring finger daily and I really liked how that one looked with the thinner band around my pointer finger.  These rings are great for stacking or layering on a single finger or a bunch of different fingers.

I LOVED it.  Now, all I have to do is save up so I can get a dainty gold band of good quality that'll last me a long time.

On Trend: Statement Necklaces

On Trend: Statement Necklaces

Even though it's summer statement necklaces are still very much on trend, their new bright colors and gold hardware have helped transition them into the summer wardrobe.  Not appropriate for beach-going purposes but perfect for nice lunches or shopping with your friends.  Here is a group of my favorite necklaces so far (with budgets ranging from J. Crew to Kate Spade to Forever 21).

1.  J. Crew Bubble Necklace ($150): This necklace is so cute, it's currently one of the things that I'm saving up for.  It comes in 4 other bright colors as well as black and white.

2.  Gerbara Garden Necklace ($149): Bright orange flowers and an elegant white ribbon tie. How perfect!

3.  Dimpled Bead Necklace ($8.80): This gold necklace is a great example of a simpler statement necklace, plus gold looks fabulous with a tan!

4.  Cactus Flower Necklace ($135): Cute teal and seafoam green flowers on a gold chain make this necklace a great addition to any collection.

5.  Lenon Necklace ($15): Long gold beaded necklace with pink accents, this necklace is great for any casual outfit.

6.  Whoops, this necklace was from Forever 21, but it's sold out on the website.  A great bright necklace that can be easily found at other stores.

7.  Azalea Necklace ($150) Super cute flower statement piece that comes in a dark blue shade and an electric orange (that's on sale for $98!)

8.  Hoffee Necklace ($20) This black paneled necklace has such a classic look that you'll surely use it any time of year.

Style: Perfect Summer Outfit

Perfect Summer Outfit

We're right in the swing of summertime now and the weather is lookin' good.  I put together this outfit as everything I would choose for a day out in the sun.  Wearing a cute bikini under your outfits ensure that you'll be ready to head to the beach in a moment's notice while the cute crossbody by Rebecca Minkoff classes the entire outfit up a bit.

I've been lusting after this pair of Sam Edelman 'Gigi' sandals for as long as I can remember, they are the perfect summer sandal that will literally go with any outfit.  On top of the bikini, any loose flowy tank tops are great to wear during the summer when you have the opportunity to show off your tan.  To top it all off (literally, get it ;) haha) this Panama hat by J.Crew sets the summertime mood.

To sign off on this post here's a little jam that's great to rock out to on the way to the beach:

On Trend: Chunky Gold Bracelets

On Trend: Chunky Gold Bracelets

I bought my gold Michael Kors watch last summer and have honestly worn it everyday since it arrived in the mail. At first I thought that I would have a few links removed so that it fit my wrist correctly but I decided against it because I really liked the oversized look of it. I like how it looks chunky around my wrist but can also fall down my arm towards my elbow.

Anyway, something that is extremely popular now is stacking. You can really stack anything from bracelets to watches to chains but I especially love the way these chunky chain bracelets look against my watch. Along with my watch I wear a J. Crew bracelet practically daily.

These chunky gold chain bracelets have been seen everywhere on everyone from fashion bloggers to celebrities. My set ranges from around $15 to over $100 so you'll surely find one that fits your budget!

On Trend: Zig Zag Enamel Rings

On Trend: Zig Zag Enamel Rings

A look that's been very popular lately amongst many, including a ton of fashion bloggers, has been these zig zag enamel stacking rings.  Sadly, I am still without these rings as when I wanted to place my order on asos.com they were out of stock.  :( Hopefully I can get my hands on these soon, before they go out of style!  I prefer the look of the Asos rings, the Charlotte Russe ones look a little thinner than I would like, however they are a good alternative.  I have also heard of an alternative at Target for about $6 or $7, however I could not find it online to include in this post, so stop by your local store and see if they have any in stock!
